Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour yoga teacher training at Hotbox led by Ava Samuel and Sarah Panetta with contributions from other Hotbox Yoga Teachers.

OUR PROMISE: To leave the program with a dynamic foundation for your yoga practice, teaching, and life. You will emerge from this program with a new sense of leadership on and off of your mat. This training will give you the tools and confidence to teach a powerful vinyasa yoga class.

WHY HOTBOX: We have a team of experienced teachers with a vast knowledge of the history of yoga, traditional yoga principles, and a power yoga practice. Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of the benefits of yoga beyond the physical. Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to work with members of our teaching team in a way that will support, challenge, and inspire leadership on and off of the mat.

PROGRAM FACILITATORS: This training will be led by Hotbox Yoga manager, Ava Samuel and Hotbox Yoga assistant manager, Sarah Panetta. Modules within the training will be led by other HBY senior teachers according to their areas of expertise.

How to teach a power yoga class based on the Journey Into Power sequence

Sequencing and playlisting for dynamic, engaging classes

Teaching to all levels and diverse groups, both in and outside of a studio

Practice teaching in a supportive environment

Co-teaching, team teaching, and receiving/giving constructive feedback

The Art of Assisting: hands-on support and alignment cues

Meditation and mindfulness practices

Self-inquiry and guided journaling

Yoga philosophy: Yamas & Niyamas, the 8 Limbs of Yoga, and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali

REQUIREMENTS:
-Required reading from various texts and program manual
-Attendance at (7) weekends of training
-Daily meditation
-At least (3) in-studio practices per week at Hotbox Yoga
-Inquiry and journaling
-Practice teaching
-Community class co-taught with other YTT participants on February 1st
​
TUITION:
Deposit: $500 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit upon application
Full Tuition: $3,250 (includes deposit)

INVESTMENT INCLUDES:
-An unlimited membership to practice at Hotbox Yoga is included in your tuition for the duration of your training (10/11-2/1). If you have an annual membership already, it will be paused for this timeframe and will resume after graduation.
